A law firm which helps disabled people with benefits claims has been nominated for the ITV News National Diversity Awards 2023.
Personal Independence Payment Professionals (PIPP’s) is a law firm based at Arrow Mill, Queensway, Rochdale was nominated for the Community Award for Disability.
The firm is a certified social enterprise offering affordable online assistance with Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Adult Disability Payment (ADP), Work Capability - Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and Universal Credit (UC) claims and appeals.
They have committed to the majority of their profits going back into offering free advice and support to those who need it.
In order to keep their fees so low the firm does not offer advice or support by telephone. Claimants can contact them with their questions and queries, by email or through social media.
A spokesperson said: "Several of our team are legally qualified and we are extremely proud that we have a point of difference, to other organisations and law firms - in that that almost all of our team has experience of living with or caring for someone with a disability, which means that they understand and empathise with the limitations that living with a disability may cause.
