POSITIVE ROLE MODEL AWARD FOR DISABILITY –

Myles was born with Schizencephaly, a rare brain defect that caused cerebral palsy, scoliosis, kyphosis and high muscle tone resulting in only being able to use one arm. Wheelchair user Myles is also partially sighted and has overcome huge barriers having undergone surgeries including having his hips removed and major spinal surgery at just 9 months old. Myles campaigns tirelessly for young people with disabilities and is the Youth Ambassador of Strongbones, a charity helping families and children with serious conditions of the bone. This amazing individual has travelled across Europe compiling a guide to wheelchair accessible attractions and has developed a Vlog and social media network that has reached and helped thousands. He runs a bravery award for unwell children and his work has previously been recognised by Number 10 Downing Street. With over 170 votes, it is clear that Myles is an inspiration to many.

    Myles you truly deserve this award; you work tirelessly to raise awareness for a few different charities and MAKe more people aware of accessibility for wheelchair users. You are such an inspiration to us all, thank you so much for creating a more inclusive society for our families.

    everyone AT Caudwell cHILDREN IS SO PROUD OF EVERYTHING mYLES HAS ACHIEVED AND HE REGULARLY ATTENDS OUR EVENTS TO TALK WITH THE TEAM, OUR SUPPORTERS AND BENEFICARIES TO HELP BREAK DOWN THE BARRIERS THAT CAN SOMETIMES PREVENT US BECOMING A TRULY INCLUSIVE SOCIETY. tHE WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE mYLES AND WE CAN ALL LEARN A LOT FROM HIM. gOOD LUCK FROM EVERYONE AT cAUDWELL cHILDREN.
