Molly is determined to bring positive change starting with the world of digital and inclusive design. Born deaf, at the age of 12 she began to go blind, the result of Usher Syndrome, a progressive condition. Molly Watt Trust was set up to raise awareness of Usher Syndrome and to create an online community to offer support to others living with the condition. Molly mentors’ people of all ages living with Usher worldwide. A prolific blogger, she shares her experiences and demonstrates how assistive tech is making a positive difference. Utilizing her platform, Molly is often a voice for those living with disabilities and reaches out to digital organisations who are able to provide tech/services for good. An accomplished public speaker, Molly has written 2 kid’s anti bullying books and runs her own accessibility & usability consultancy where she advises organisations about the importance of digital/environmental inclusion.
