Welcome to the National Diversity Awards, an evening of celebration where we honour and celebrate the UK's diverse and inspiring individuals and organisations that work tirelessly to promote diversity, equality, and inclusion. We are committed to creating a safe, accessible, and welcoming environment for all attendees, ensuring that everyone feels included and respected throughout the event.
Getting to the Event
The event will be held at the stunning Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. For those arriving by train, the venue is approximately a 15-minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street Station.
Walking Directions from Liverpool Lime Street Station:
Exit the station via the main entrance.
Turn left onto Lime Street and walk towards St. George’s Hall.
Continue straight onto Ranelagh Street and follow signs to Liverpool ONE.
Walk through the shopping district and follow Duke Street until you reach Rodney Street.
From Rodney Street, turn left onto Upper Duke Street and continue until you reach the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral.
Taxis are available from Liverpool Lime Street Station, and bus routes also serve the area near the Cathedral.

Accessibility:
The venue is fully accessible for wheelchair users and individuals with mobility needs. Step-free access is available at all entrances, and accessible parking is provided near the Cathedral. Should you require assistance, our event team will be on hand throughout the evening.
Quiet Spaces:
We understand that large events can be overwhelming. A designated quiet space will be available for anyone who needs a break from the noise and activity. This will be in the Lady Chapel and offer a calm, low-stimulation environment for you to relax. This space will also have its own toilets which will also be gender neutral.
Toilets:
The venue includes accessible AccessoLoo toilets which are situated on the back carpark where the disabled parking bays are. We will also have gender-neutral facilities to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe. These facilities are clearly marked and located conveniently near the event space.
Dietary Requirements:
We are committed to providing inclusive dining options that cater to all dietary needs. Our catering team is experienced in offering a wide range of meals, including but not limited to:

- Gluten-Free
- Nut-Free
- Allergen-Free Options
If you have any specific dietary requirements, please inform us in advance, and we will ensure your needs are accommodated.
Beverages:
A variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available throughout the evening. We are pleased to offer a selection of non-alcoholic drinks, including soft drinks, mocktails, and alcohol-free wine and beer options, ensuring that all guests have choices that align with their preferences.
Prayer Space:
A dedicated prayer space will be available for attendees who require it. The prayer room is accessible throughout the event and will be signposted for ease of access. This space is equipped with prayer mats and offers a quiet environment for reflection and worship.
Assistance Animals:
Assistance animals are welcome at the event. We will have water bowls and quiet areas available for their comfort. Please notify us if you plan to attend with a service animal so we can make any necessary arrangements.
