Cedarcube understands that a strong family unit is the foundation of a stable society and seeks to support couples to overcome pertinent issues and to economically empower women particularly, those from Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME) groups that according to statistics, have a higher likelihood of experiencing domestic abuse. Those involved gain more confidence in their natural talents and abilities, enabling them to cultivate transferable skills and empowering them to leave abusive relationships or enabling them to improve existing ones. Cedarcube also helps those who have suffered the trauma of abuse and are experiencing effects such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) to access funded therapy and counselling. This brilliant charity supports men in the same way and works with other agencies in the local community of Epping Forest such as Crime stoppers and Epping Forest Community Safety partnership.
