The Alliance Dance Unit (ADU) Charity specialise in targeting knife crime, ASB, self harming and depression through early intervention services in the arts. Since establishing, they have engaged with thousands of people from a multitude of backgrounds and ages. ADU is a charity that prides itself of being unique and striving to transform lives is one of their key values. Their recognition from police borough commanders, councillors and mayors confirm the need for their presence in the community. At ADU, it’s so much more than just being involved in dance and performing arts; it’s a lifestyle and a support network that individuals can relate to, confide in and most importantly, count on. Every year this outstanding organisation puts on a major production and invites all students to participate regardless of ability or background which boosts their overall outlooks on the world and increases self-esteem.
