The Autistic Community of Cornwall CIC (ACC) was founded by dedicated Autistic individuals to redefine support services for the Autistic community. As a community-led initiative, ACC is run by a team of dedicated Autistic people who understand the Autistic experience. The core Navigator programme offers peer-to-peer support, helping individuals navigate daily life. ACC also provides post-diagnostic support co-designed with Autistic individuals and the NHS, bridging the gap between diagnosis and everyday support. Advocacy services help Autistic individuals and families access necessary support, ensuring their voices are heard and rights are upheld. ACC offers education support through remarkable Autistic-led training, workshops, and resources, empowering families to advocate for their children. ACC welcomes all Autistic individuals, whether diagnosed or self-identifying, ACC provides a safe space for connection, celebration, and empowerment.
