Originating from Sunderland, Steven embarked on a transformative journey catalysed by personal loss and self-discovery to his true queer identity, overcoming significant hurdles, including two years of hidden homelessness, Steven leveraged his experiences to advocate for underrepresented artists and challenge industry norms in the music industry and beyond even topping the UK charts. As co-founder of HE.SHE.THEY., an international platform using music as agent for change, he empowers marginalized voices regional and globally. A staunch LGBTQIA+ rights advocate, Steven influences change through board roles and collaborations with global brands. Speaking at conferences or bodies like the London Assembly to organising events across the UK and 20 countries globally from Glastonbury to Coachella, he fosters dialogue and representation to promote the values of diversity, equality and inclusion.
