Seren Jaye is a disability advocate and ambassador for Tourettes Action and Purple Tuesday. She uses her platform to dispel misconceptions about blindness and Tourettes, focusing on educating younger generations about disability to promote inclusivity and accessibility. As a Girlguiding leader for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, and Rangers, she is working directly with young people fostering diversity. Seren is working on her Queen’s Guide Award. She is dedicated to delivering accessible resources and improving inclusivity within organisations, hospitals and education, teaching the importance of alt text, captions, while sharing her experiences with blindness. Seren has collaborated with Tourette’s Action to produce training videos on lesser-known aspects of Tourette syndrome while balancing this with university. Her efforts continue to inspire and educate many.
