Safe Equestrian provides an inclusive environment where individuals of all ages and abilities can engage with horses and ponies. The SAFE farm offers riding lessons for all, education programs for ages 8–16, year-round activities and clubs, and volunteer opportunities starting at age 13. Safe Equestrian welcomes everyone, regardless of experience, age, ability, background, challenges, or goals, fostering a sense of belonging for anyone passionate about horses. Founded to dismantle barriers in the equestrian world, they believe horses can benefit everyone, promoting growth, healing, and achievement. The organisation was born from firsthand experiences of inaccessibility for SEN users, aiming to ensure horses are accessible to all, aiding confidence, mental health, social skills, and communication. With backgrounds in education and equine qualifications, Safe Equestrian has developed tailored programs supporting children and young people in mainstream settings.
