Since launching in December 2020, FunnyBoyz has created over 100 jobs for LGBTQ+ individuals, employing more drag artists and trans people than any other UK venue. Starting in Liverpool, FunnyBoyz expanded to Manchester, Glasgow, London, Middlesbrough, Brighton, and internationally to Spain, Sweden, and Norway. They manage drag events for Buzz Bingo’s 84 UK locations, the Mersey Ferries & The Cavern Club. Ranked Number 1 on TripAdvisor's “travellers' choice '' for LGBTQ+ bars in the UK, FunnyBoyz is in the top 10 gay bars globally. As an official partner of the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool, FunnyBoyz donates profits to LCR Pride, Cancer Is a Drag and supports dozens of other charities. They provide subsidised tickets and free venue hire to local queer groups, fostering an inclusive, safe, and supportive community. Co-founders Linda Gold and Dys-Alexia are recognised on Liverpool Echo's Official Rainbow List.
