Dawn Thornber has over 30 years of experience in social housing. Throughout her career, Dawn has found fulfilment in working with individuals from all walks of life, appreciating the unique challenges and rewards each role has offered. As an Orange Ambassador, Dawn actively raises awareness and advocates for ending violence against women and girls. She also serves voluntarily as the Safeguarding Officer for The Victoria Hall in Bolton, a Methodist church and community hub. Currently, Dawn serves as the Property Services and Operational Manager, responsible for overseeing all single homeless hostels in Bolton. Beyond her professional endeavours, Dawn is a dedicated mother and grandmother, passionately assisting her eldest grandchild in running a charity page that raises funds for "When You Wish Upon a Star," an organisation granting wishes to children facing life-threatening illnesses.
