BelEve, founded by Marsha, Chyloe, and Rochelle Powell in 2012, empowers girls aged 8 to 22 through holistic programmes that promote resilience and leadership. Inspired by personal loss, the founders created BelEve to provide mentorship and support to girls in Lewisham and surrounding areas. Overcoming socio-economic challenges, BelEve fosters diversity and inclusion, reaching over 20,000 girls since its inception. Notable achievements include partnerships with corporate organisations, establishing a Young Leadership Board, and significantly increasing financial sustainability. BelEve's programmes have proven impactful, with 90% of participants reporting increased communication confidence and 95% forming healthier peer relationships. Dedicated to creating future leaders, BelEve embodies hope and empowerment, driving positive change in communities. BelEve ensures girls realise their potential, break barriers, and thrive, fostering a brighter, more inclusive future through unwavering commitment to empowerment and inclusivity.
