Community Organisation Award: LGBT
Everton Together was set up in 2020 and aims to work with the community and wider communities and organisations. Since its inception Everton Together has organised over 40 Litter Picks removing over 300 bags of rubbish from the Everton community. They have removed graffiti from the area, repainted benches in their park, and featured in local news dozens of times for campaigning to get money owed to the Community. The organisation has also fundraised for a variety of organisations including events for Ukraine, a homeless charity in Liverpool and a Women's Health Charity. In addition, the group has organised blocs on Pride for marginalised groups, successfully petitioned against 5G masts being installed next to their vital green space, had the lights repaired in Everton Park and have arranged Toy and School Uniform Swaps to recycle and reuse items.
