In Tony’s 7 short years he has achieved more than most people ever do in their whole lives. Not only does he continue to fight excruciating pain every day but has changed many lives. In 2020, Tony raised 1.7 million for the Evelina Children’s Hospital in London providing innovative equipment for surgical procedures. A community service to help more children with complex needs like Tony that will also launch a new therapy unit in the new Evelina 2 named the Tony Hudgell Therapy Unit. Since Tony’s birth parents were sentenced to the maximum sentence for child cruelty he has campaigned with his foster parents, their MP Tom Tugendhat, The PM Boris Johnson and DPM Dominic Raab to change the law, which has been successful. This year The Tony Hudgell Foundation was created, and Tony continues to raise money to enhance the lives of children affected by physical, emotional or psychological abuse.
