Omair is the co-founder of Phos Cycle - which is the first company in the world to recycle expired fire extinguisher powder ethically and sustainably. Phos Cycle now saves over 100,000 Tons across Europe from being dumped in landfills annually. After being in the waste industry for over 10 years, Omair saw first-hand how big of an issue this waste was having on already over-subscribed landfills across the country. Omair and his co-founder, quickly turned what seemed an idea, into a patented and scalable business which takes the UK closer to it's net-zero targets. With significant public and private funding secured, Omair aims to take Phos Cycle from it's humble beginnings in Birmingham, UK to the rest of the world. Omair showcases the high values of sustainability and entrepreneurship which can have a major impact on the planet and future generations.
