An outstanding, courageous woman who has overcome many battles, Alisha Standing is an inspiration, shining a light on many crucial issues. PR and Communications expert, Alisha has a passion for the fight for equality, and is committed to creating a better future for people of colour. Overcoming childhood abuse, this incredible role model has a number of notable achievements under her belt including completing a Psychology & Philosophy course with the Philadelphia Association, raising over £2,500 in a team for the Big Sleep Out for UK homeless charities, and participating in the toxic work culture documentary ‘Vanishing Women’. A champion of lifting minority voices, Alisha is a regular voice at BBC Asian Network where she discusses various topics such as interracial marriage, relationships, supporting BAME businesses and supporting the Asian community.
