Dr Anjana Khatwa is an Earth Scientist specialising in bringing stories about the origins and formation of natural landscapes to life for a wide range of audiences. As one of few BAME people working in Geography and Earth Science, Anjana has overcome significant barriers and is incredibly passionate about inspiring those who are historically underrepresented to choose science as a career, being a leading voice in this arena. She spent 15 years developing a high level, strategic learning programme for the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site where she developed award winning resources and individually trained over 5000 teachers nationally and internationally. As the new Wessex Engagement Lead for Wessex Museums, she places diversity and inclusion at the forefront of her work ensuring heritage spaces are accessible for all, especially those who are underserved in the sector.
